A Tribute to Robin Williams
Robin Williams Tributeby EmilyStepp
Why did we delay for more than a week the publishing of this remembrance? Because to properly reflect the impact of this loss on the millions of Robin Williams fans worldwide, we wanted to be sure to capture a true sense of the torrent of love for Robin pouring in from the community in the form of heartfelt portraits and other tribute art.
We chose the “best” pieces to accompany our own prose tribute, but the “best” kept being supplanted by
|This is a collection of various favorites from all over the world of random and hopefully can give someone some art but above all they inspire me in some way. Even though I at some time intend to create art, I consider the vast collection of favorites in the combination they are in an expression of art. I do not enccisarily recoment that people try some of the things in this gallery but they are not the less elegant in their own way. To say I adore some of the themes in my favorites is an emense understament as they represent a depth of meaning that's hard to describe, favorites are as much a create as anything. I put them on different websites thetemporalcontinuum713.tumblr… . Some of the people that inspire me are, are friends or people that I cantact on a regular basis linked here. This is my name in Gallifreyan thetemporalcontinuum713.tumblr…|
|I try and be fair with my critiques but I would be lying if I said I din't have a certain vision for Sci-Fi or general photography in mind. Most of the critiques will be neutral to do with the deviation it's self but some will have how well they meet my personal style of what that type of creation should look like. I love to give my opinion and exchange conversation. Let me know if you need something I can critique. Hello there, this is a non-serious puzzle you can decode. Take what you will from this but this is a test the meaning of which will most likely bring joy once you have found out what just happened. Many of you will already know and gain a new branch of confidence in having even attempted this, let alone fully reconstructed this. It is obvious that this is not just the beginning to the game but part of the game it's self. Many peripheral reasons will surface as this progresses. So here it is; the not so elegant theme of this.
Of all the word scrambling scripts that have been invented to gauge ( albeit laughably so ) the immediate literacy comprehension of any superficially or circumstantially brave person who happens to attempt such a test, many have come, many have gone. Many have leaked into arithmetical territory by adding numbers, many were just content to intensify the word scrambling to prove a point. Many phrases have eluded themselves into the realm of statistics with themes such as 'some odd percent of people can't read this' or some phrase denoting how many can and how many can't read such a paragraph, all the while going as far as to hide the percentage in the paragraph it's self. They often present themselves as either a self contained statement that has everything, including the description of the very narrative scrambled in with the central theme or they have the conventional scrabbled text eluded to by a line of regular text adjacent to it.
This likewise prompted the creation of this piece. It is what you may call a recursive play on the thoroughly prevalent word games that are out there. This culmination ties all these together and instead of predictably scrambling the words, it leaves their original order intact while expanding out the substance of these words out beyond the comprehension of many of you. There is no shame or honor in not getting this or in getting this as it is an opportunity to expand one's self and have fun. So to bring this veiled narrative to a close one question must be asked.
Can you translate me?
What can I say....about myself that might be what is called adequate, you can't really explain a decent framework of yourself over something like this but here goes. I like to comment about art and my opinion of art, I enjoy the community and am learning the whole art exchange process, I love meeting new people. It isn't quite a career but I really enjoy art. I have a passion for conceptual art that gives a profound message and illustrates a very ambitious otherworldly concept. I love desert (mainly american southwest), autumn; by autumn I mean many things but almost any park scene especially a scene with just a lonely park bench and that is immersed in a forest a autumn colored trees and some sci-fi scenes, I especially enjoy well made sceneries with the themes Terragen, Terraspace and other digitally illustrated landscapes. I absolutely love original art that just opens the mind to a completely different concepts, the kinds that confronts a person gently or even strongly with completely new possibilities and some that even go as far as to never leave a person the same. I am strongly and unashamingly biased towards art the sends a shiver down your spine, makes time slow down and even effects the breath of those who view it. The goal of art should be to add a new dimension of life and the mind. I have to say and it may be obvious to some but the main suttle theme to any good art should be layering as in people of all experiences and all mentalities should be able to get something from the art piece no matter what there mood. Perhaps the art that brings it home or I can relate to the most are pieces with astrophysical themes to them, I am picky about how they show perspective, I can't help it in order to give an idea of the scale of the universe art has to most of the time seem as if the person is there or something. I am studying to become an astrophysicist or something like it. Even though I don't agree with everything they say I adore speakers of science like Carl Sagan, Geoffrey Marcy, Michio Kaku, and even people like Jason Lisle a great speaker can put a context to a concept that can turn on a passion for the universe. I have too many speakers to really mention but when they can convey the astonishing nature of the universe you know. I love the style of art known as steampunk and all the ways it can be experimented with. I love wax art and it's implications. I love the many variations of wax seals you can make and pendants. I think how wax can symbolize so many things is what gives it it's artistic vibe. I am somewhat interesting in candle wax art meaning dripping wax on skin or holding a candle as it melts in the hand or on some part of the body, I don't know why I really like it but I think it looks just amazing, anyway wax art is wonderful. A candle can tell a story and it is the cumulative conduit of wax. A candle is an Oxygen plasma that represents 99.9% of the matter in the universe without quite being a star. It embodies the phases of life by going from a solid to a liquid to a gas. It can contain a story. I like to learn from people I try and stay around people far more skilled than me and are alot further along in there life, finding people like that isn't usually hard in my case but I am just here to learn from others. I am an unashamed Christian. I am here to enjoy the exchange of ideas if much of the internet can be dignified with such a phrase. That reminds me of the saying. I am single and looking but I want a woman who can grasp the deeper nuances of life and has a passion for art. I am for the record rather annoyed at innocent girls that act like any intimacy is some profound threshold or that insist on treating other like they are too innocent. That's not to say I like vulgar women it is more accurate to say I like it when a woman is not afraid to get her hands dirty metaphorically and literally meaning that is not afraid to live a fully honest life. I like a woman that is not afraid to express herself fully and analogously on all levels. I love a wide variety of art that complements this philosophy in all it's Tetrated forms. I like beautiful art and photography so I will have all kinds of pictures. I can't stand perverts but I am the farthest thing from prudish or shy with affection and want a woman to know that upfront, I'm not demanding but I expect physical affection; when it is deserved and earned, I more than anything think relationships are meant to be a partnership where they compliment each other. I am a realist when it comes to love, I would like true love but I don't think every new relationship is love at first sight, love should be passionate and respectful not sweet, innocent or naive, as innocence is one of the worst insults to love attainable. There is obviously an art to love that should be separated from naively thinking about that. I love to just mainly meet new people, friends, honorable enemies and maybe a girlfriend, just get to know people's stories. As you may have noticed I am a big admirer of the arform called Urbex. I love to explore a long abandoned yet recognizable place and wonder what were the people that lived there like. What were they thinking, did they ever wonder what would happen to their place once they left? Any type of place that is a combination fo elegant and old, I like to imagine what it must have been like a it's height. I am glad people take the time to put their art on here. I am going to be honest and admit I don't intend to make art right away but will soon. I will still contribute in any way I can though. Message me if you want to know more.
